Writer/artist notes: track 9 of the Busted Dreams album was 70% written in my early Nashville years. I felt it always needed something more... few heard what I had on it. Some of it all lyrically came through experience... The Oh's came about naturally in the extended vision of the song. I don't like to add oh's for Oh's sake. LOL even though there are many many many ha ha!
I always played the parts ...Guitar, Piano separately until this recording.

This blog will dive into track 8 of Busted Dreams. All parts were played straight through as band members would in concert. Main guitar part in left stage started it all out with basic drum track. Following respectively: Vocal, backup vocal 1, piano, percussion, bass, guitar two(right stage), backup vocals 2&3....hearing a semblance of each in mind/imagination until recorded. This was the 2nd recording of this song, after a previous 4 track demo.

Writers notes: Somethings you write out of the air are almost prophetic at times. That seems to somehow follow the dreams narrative. Sometimes it could get fulfilled. Sometimes it seems busted after a point, but you act it out anyways ...following UR heart. Dreams can be like video ...I write to that most often.
after initial write an edit to alter ending was made both lyrically and musically with some satisfaction, another part of the dream.

Artist notes: felt close to some  Allman Brothers,  Springsteen, Marshall Tucker Band ...even cheering me on a little in my imaginative collective heart. LOL!

It appears to be a multi emotional/situational song/story/dream, but sincere. The line about "busted dreams" lent itself to the Album "Busted Dreams".
