Sep 2, 2011 UR S MAN Sam Reeves says Conversations 2nd Listen (rm) is here ! While  working on 2nd album  I Am Sam  the desire arose to remix Conversations. Then the what ifs came out...... here is the result! After all it is all about the performance isn't it ! We realized just like  we didn't have the

opportunity to see and hear all the good music live ourselves! Who would have that chance So here you go ... this is one performance put together that I hope you will remember... that's why we did it for sure! I have been busy working on Album 2 Which I think will be called I Am Sam.

Also been working on producing a special project with my son Sam Reeves Jr. I will keep you updated on that!

Update 06/23/2011

Took a few days out for Fathers Day to hang out with my Dad visit with my Son, got to see my daughter too! Got to do some studio work in the middle of some of that! Going to hopefully get a little studio work done with my Son on some of his music in the spirit  of  father -son/ Father's Day. then back to some more. Some info is not released yet of half of what I have been up to but I will soon be able to let that out of the bag! I think you will like it! But it is about more music of course...... will post more soon.....

It's always a lot of work, but for an Artist there can be such an internal drive to birth some new music into their world! No different for me! For sure!

I invite you to check in with me in this process! I'll make a promise I will keep! That is to do the absolute best I can do! And to try and keep you up on what is going on.

Right now I am working on 20 something songs written since the first of the year! Some rock, some blues, some are just something else! I always try to get the emotion(s) to the top of the songs and their performances!

Feel free to come with me.................. to me fans are friends and friends should be fans....I know that is how I feel about those in my life!

What's on my mind?

Music! Being an Indie!

The music never stops! Much of our World may be missing some marvelous music and art! I wonder how many of us respond to stamps of approval by the gate keepers of the music industry more than the approval our own senses and emotion give!

We ought to be demanding to hear the treasures we find! Not just the ones served us by the gate keepers! Notice I said not just! We can make our own choices! Regardless who presents it to us or not! So if I like something no one needs to try to make me think it is any less!

So what can we do? Request what you want! Find it where it is! Promote what you like! Your opinion counts! Go out and support the art that touches you! It wasn't created to sit on the shelf! And help the artist stay alive to return that gift to you another day! And another!
